I am a senior data-agnostic engineer who, in my latest role at a Fortune 500 fintech, built an engineering team from scratch to deliver a new product at scale. We went from zero to a functioning, high-velocity team operating inside one of the largest and most complex technology organizations in the world.

Then the acquisition hit. This one wasn't my first. My role was made redundant in the restructuring. That moment taught me a raw truth most corporate decks never mention: surviving a buyout means you either get acquired again or you figure out how to scale yourself and your ideas into something that sells. I’m still deep in that journey — rebuilding, shipping, and refusing to coast in an AI-driven industry that moves faster every quarter.
